Summary:
On April 27th, 2024, the Andalus Committee had the honor of hosting a virtual panel discussion with Their Excellencies, Foreign Ministers Downer and Kono, dedicated to the challenges and opportunities in the Indo-Pacific region. 

Our conversation centered on geopolitical developments in the region, covering the emergence of China, the AUKUS military alliance and the role of the USA, regional integration dynamics such as ASEAN, advancements in AI, space exploration, climate issues, and youth leadership.

The speakers then engaged with our student audience during an interactive Q&A session. Our heartfelt thanks to Foreign Ministers Kono and Downer for their insightful contributions, and to all attendees whose participation made this event a true success!
