Summary:
On May 20th, 2024, the Andalus Committee was pleased to welcome H.E. Ambassador Ashraf for a virtual lecture with the students of our network on India's perspectives regarding the BRICS organization.

Our conversation included an analysis of the BRICS+ expansion and its membership policy, India's stance on the Russia-Ukraine conflict within the BRICS framework, the unity of the BRICS and the organization's ideological evolution. The discussion also covered the bilateral relationship between France and India, the growth of start-ups in the Indian economy and their opportunities, and India's climate commitments.​ 

The event was followed by an enriching Q&A session with the students. Our heartfelt thanks go to H.E. Ambassador Ashraf for his time and to the Indian Embassy in Paris for their excellent coordination of the event as well as to all the participants who made this event a resounding success!
